I was raised in Northeast New Mexico and chose to return home to the area where I grew up, the ranching community of Mosquero, NM. I am a third-generation New Mexican, with family roots that go back to my grandfather homesteading land in Harding County in the late 1800s. I am also a proud University of New Mexico graduate, where I earned my BBA degree in Finance and completed my MBA in Business Management. Opening my State Farm agency in Raton, New Mexico gave me the opportunity to return home with my family and help the GOOD NEIGHBORS I grew up around in Raton, Clayton, Cimarron, Springer, Angel Fire, Red River, New Mexico, Southeast Colorado, and West Texas.

My agency has been actively involved in the communities of Northeast New Mexico, Southeast Colorado, and West Texas. I am an active member of the Raton Rotary and Knights of Columbus, and I have served the Raton Public Schools as a High School Basketball Coach. I have also volunteered as a Little League Coach, sponsored area high school athletic teams, supported youth extracurricular activities, and was formerly a member of the Raton Elks Club. I am honored to have qualified for Honor Club and Ambassador Club, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the communities that have shaped my life and my business.
Outside the office, I enjoy meeting new people, traveling throughout the USA and around the world when possible, following sports, and spending time with my family and friends. My wife and I have been married for 26 years, and we are proud parents of our daughter, Autumn Archuleta, who earned her MBA from the University of New Mexico, and our son, Jose Anecleto Archuleta, who earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of New Mexico. I also enjoy camping trips with my parents and siblings.
